Srikanta Mishra, PhD

Dr. Srikanta Mishra is Technical Director for Geo-energy Modeling & Analytics at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, OH, where he directs computational modeling and data analytics projects for geological carbon storage, shale gas/oil development and improved oil recovery. Dr. Mishra is author of the book “Applied Statistical Modeling and Data Analytics for the Petroleum Geosciences” published by Elsevier, as well as ~200 technical publications. He served as SPE Distinguished Lecturer for 2018-19 on the topic of Big Data Analytics, and has taught multiple short courses on the subject at professional conferences and client locations. He holds a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University.
